LCC #81 – Trim the Tree

Over at Let's Craft and Create the challenge this fortnight is Trim The Tree (link here), so I bit the bullet and made the first of my Christmas cards. Hope you can come and join us.

I used a stamp set that my husband got me last year from Muji. The stamps are cute little snowflakes set on little wooden dowel rods all in an even cuter wooden box. Not used them before but I think they will be making many an outing for this years xmas cards.

LCC #80 – Ink Technique

The subject for this fortnights Let's Craft and Create challenge is ink technique. I decided to go for ink blending with drops of water splashed onto it for a bit of interest and texture. The purple version didn't turn out quite how I wanted, the colours are a little muddy and grey, I am  much happier with the pink version. The inspiration for the layout comes from Kristina Werner (love her stuff),  thanks Kristina.

Come and join us here for the challenge and check out what the rest of the talented design team have come up with.

Thanks for looking, Lorry :o) xx
