PfP Week 119 – Planes, Trains and Automobiles

I am going to have another go at a Passion for Promarkers challenge, this is for week 119 Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I managed to get into the top 5 last time and I was well made up, thanks PfP :o) xx

New Baby Girl

I popped into Hobby Craft yesterday and picked up a little stamp set for 99p, bargain! I made this card for my friend who has just had a little girl with it.


Ingredients
Stamps: Bargain set from Hobby Craft called BabyBoy.
Inks: Dusky pink from Hobby Ccraft.
BG Papers: Spotty paper set up on my computer and printed out at home, plain card from my stash.

LOTV Birthday Fairy

This is a cute image from Lilly of the Valley. I am going to enter it into the Passion for Promarkers Week 117 challenge, I don't normally enter challenges, but here goes!


Ingredients
Stamps: Birthday Fairy by Lilly of the Valley.
BG Papers: Patterned paper freebie from a mag, plain coloured card from my stash.
Promarkers: Ivory, Blush, Oatmeal, Pastel Pink, Rose Pink, Amethyst, Lemon, Canary, Tan, Henna, Cool Grey 1 and Cool Grey 3.
Embellishments: Clear flat backed gems coloured with Promarkers to match card.

Sleeping Kitten

After much blog hopping I stumbled accross Sliekje's Digi Stamps. There are loads of cute digi images to download and colour and best of all they are free, all she asks is to link back to her blog. Here is my version of the Sleeping Kitten image. Thanks Angelique :o) x

This time I changed it to have flowers instead of stars.

BG Papers: Patterned paper is a freebie from the web, plain colours sampled in Photoshop from the patterned paper to get a perfect match.

After making a few cards with the Papermania's A7 sentiments stamps I realised that they didn't do one for saying thank you, so I made one up.

Lots of Love

I have been watching Barbara Gray from Clarity Stamps 'In the classroom' on Create and Craft and she has inspired me to have a bit of a play with some of my stamps. It took quite a few attempts on scraps of copier paper to get the right layout but I am really please with the end result, thanks Barbara!

Happy Birthday – 3 Flowers

Red and Aqua Happy Birthday

I made this card with various sized circle and flower punches. I like the colour combo.

Heat Embossing First Attempt

This is my first attempt at heat embossing. I am really pleased with the end result.

I made this A6 card to practice my stamping and edge distressing. Could be used as a sympathy card.

Card for a Footie Fan

I made this card for a friends son who is mad on Arsenal.

Little Thank You Card

This was one of the first cards I made after a trip to the Hobby Craft sale where I bought a nice collection of punches.


Ingredients
BG papers: Dotty paper made on the computer and printed out at home, orange pearlescent card from Rymans and plain orange paper from my stash.
Sentiment: Also made on the computer.
Embellishment: Flower and circle punches from Hobby Craft used with the papers listed above to make the main embellishment. 

Kenny K Birthday Card

I discovered Kenny K about a year ago, his digi stamps are really good for blokie cards which can be hard, and he has a freebie download every month which is cool. This one is Carmen Electrafying, I made her into a birthday card for my husband Miles.


Ingredients
Stamps: Digi stamp from Kenny K.
BG Papers: Freebies from a mag and re-coloured in Photoshop, dark blue plain paper from my stash.
Promarkers: Ivory, Blush, Oatmeal, Pastel Blue, Denim Blue, Cool Grey 3, Cool Grey 4, Cool Grey 5, Gold and Henna. I also used a red gel pen for her lipstick.
Embellishments: Dark blue paper from my stash punched with a circle punch from Hobby Craft.

What a cutie

This sweet stamp was part of a set that was a free gift from Quick Cards issue 87. I made it into an Easter card for my grandson Jamie.

Recycle and Reuse

These 3 little A7 cards were made from some wrapping paper I had in my stash. I needed some quick and easy thank you cards after my sons birthday.

LOTV Happy Birthday

This cute image is from Lilly of the Valley, I tried not to make it too sickly sweet so I added a dotty background instead of flowers, plus I was drawn to the papers as the colour combo is cool.

Stamp: Lilly of the Valley for main image and Papermaina stamp for Happy Birthday.
BG papers: Printed from Dandilion and Daisy CD, plain purple paper from stash.
Promarkers: Canary, Gold, Lime Green, Forest Green, Cinnamon, Henna, Rose Pink, Satin, Bluebell, Purple, Cool Grey 1 and Cool Grey 3.
Embellishments: Butterfly punch from Hobby Craft used to make 3D butterfly embellishment.
