Retro Sketches #53

I made this card for the Retro Sketches #53 challenge. I wasn't sure about it at first but it is growing on me. I am never that good with using patterned papers, although I have quite a lot in my stash, I end up just looking at them and deciding not to cut them up as they are too nice. That is why I am taking the Pattern Play class, it starts on the 18th March and I can't wait.

Stamp: Vintage Verses from Stampin' Up!
BG paper: Patterned papers are Life of the Party from Basic Grey and Ad Lib Collection by BoBunny, Plain card from my stash.
Embellishments: Buttons from Dartford Market.

    Such a PRETTY card, Lorry! The 'vintage' colours caught my eye, and especially, the polka-dotted tag. Love polka dots! Your interpretation of the sketch is charming! I'm a newcomer to card-making, so I'll be returning to your site after I finish my 'attempt.' Thank you for sharing and inspiring!
