Hi There,
I'm back again with another challenge over at House of Cards, this month the challenge is to create a card with a bokeh effect. Each week throughout the month there will be inspiration from different members of the design team.
For my card I went with a block of pattern paper from the Simon Says Stamp November card kit and then I stamped some circles on it with some white pigment ink to give the bokeh effect, a sentiment and a couple of fancy underlines and job done.
Thanks for looking, Lorry :o) xx

Two Card Tuesday #7
Hi There
Back again with another Two Card Tuesday where I challenge myself to make 2 cards using the same sketch/layout. One for a girlie and one for a blokie, I change up the colour combo, pattern paper or theme to give each card a different feel.
Thank for looking

CASE-ing Christmas #17
Hi There
It is time for another challenge over at CASE-ing Christmas and this time the inspiration comes from the lovely Cohenna.
For my card I have used the main layout as well as sticking with the colour theme of green and red. I made the sentiment the main feature as I didn't have a suitable image, I added some flowers and leaves and job done, oh and not forgetting a bit of bling.
I normally have real trouble getting stamp and die sets lined up exactly how I want them, the OCD in me comes out and I end up throwing most of what I do away as they are not up to scratch, this time I used my new toy, the MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented) and it was a doddle, I even made enough leaves for 2 cards!
Thanks for looking and don't forget to enter this weeks challenge.

CASE-ing Christmas Challenge #15
Hi There
Its challenge time again over at CASE-ing Christmas. This time the inspiration comes from the talented Ellen.
For my card I decided to dig out some pattern papers that I have had for a while and not quite known what to do with as they are not the usual Christmas colour pallet. I stuck to the main layout of Ellen's card but turned it 90° so the oval would fit my sentiment. As the pattern paper was rather busy I toned it down with a double thickness of tracing paper. The main oval is popped up with some fun foam, a tip I saw used by the very talented Jennifer McGuire, saves on all those little foam square, thanks!

House of Cards – April Challenge
Hi There
I'm back today with another House of Cards challenge, this month it's a colour combo plus you can add a butterfly if you fancy.
I decided to go for it and do both as I haven't used a butterfly for a while. I used a mid blue a little more dusky than the turquoise in the pic as I wanted the butterfly to really pop. The sentiment and the leaf die are both from Clearly Besotted and the butterfly is from Memory Box, I cut it from white and coloured it up with ink daubers and distress inks. A classic combo of dots and stripes for the pattern papers and job done!

CASE-ing Christmas #13
Hi There
I am back with another great challenge over at CASE-ing Christmas. This week the inspiration comes from the talented Judy.
The main inspiration came from the colour scheme – the blues and aquas, I also kept the 3 blocks of paper in the background, I added a snowflake, some ribbon and a bit of bling and the card is done!
Thanks for looking,
