LCC #75 Fancy Edges

Here is my card for the Let's Craft and Create Challenge #75 – Fancy Edges, come and join us for a chance to win some American Crafts Velvet Ric Rac in some great colours.

I got the inspiration for this card from Kristina Warner, I love her video tutorials and all here tips and tricks she shares. She has great handwriting and has a mini class on how to improve your own writing, so I thought I would give it a try for the sentiment on this card. It's not too bad but I think I could do with a little more practice.

Punch: Small heart from Hobby Craft, punched in red and covered with Glossy Accents from Ranger.

 Embellishments: Buttons from Dartford Market, Uni-ball Signo white gel pen and Washi Tape from Stampin' Up!

Dies: Secret Garden by Stampin' Up!.

Pro Markers: Rose Pink, Hot Pink, Soft Green, Turquoise, Lime Green and Moss. 

Cool Old School

I ordered some things from Simon Says Stamp, I know the postage is expensive but some of the stuff on the site is brill and just can't get from the UK. Among my goodies was a stamp set from Cosmo Cricket called  Sweet Disposition. It has a cool retro tape cassette and camera on it, as well as some great sentiments.

Here is a card I made for a friend of ours, Neil. I think this set will be making a few more appearances as it just right for blokies (especially ones of a certain age!).

Ingredients:

Stamps: Sweet Disposition by Cosmo Cricket and My Type by Hero Arts for the sentiment.

Tools: Colour Spritzer by Stampin' Up! with water colour pens for the splatter background. Shaving brushes from Wilkos and ink pads for the grad background of the main image.

Embellishments: Home made washi tape, stripes from the Building Blocks stamp set by Clearly Besotted stamped into tracing paper, then stuck with double sided tape. 

ATCAS #9 – Spring

We have had 2 day of sunshine and dare I say that spring is here? I hope so.

Little Fella's Robot

This card is one of several I made in different colour ways. It is my son's birthday soon and I am trying to be organised, making the cards ahead of time so the thanks you's can go out before too long has passed by, well that's the plan!
